Square Enix’s E3 conference this year was full of high-profile remasters. From the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake to The Last Remnant Remastered’s Switch port, there was certainly a lot to take in. One other noteworthy remaster that was showcased was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Editions which we first heard mention of back in late 2018. This game will be a complete remaster of the 2003 offshoot of the mainline Final Fantasy series. While that original release was exclusive to Nintendo’s GameCube, this remaster will occupy shelf space for both the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4. There are even iOS and Android releases planned to arrive alongside the console versions. All four versions are due to arrive this winter season and will feature online multiplayer for up to four players. Have a look at the E3 trailer below to see some additional details.
While there is still no hard release is available for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition at this time, you can read a bit more about the game by visiting its official page on the Square Enix website. Be sure to follow along as we continue to learn more about this upcoming remaster. Also, please let us know in the comments below what your initial impressions are.
