As the holiday movie season approaches, we recall that many successful films receive video game adaptations. Typically, those games have a reputation of being not very good, although there have been some exceptions over the years.
Movie-based video games aren’t a new thing either. Some of the oldest examples date back to the early ’80s. Whether it’s a way to cross-promote two pieces of media or just a way to cash in on a blockbuster hit, it’s a practice that’s likely to continue into the foreseeable future.
So, this week, the oprainfall Retro Commercial Research Team–in other words, me–presents to you some classic TV moments for movie-licensed games. Let us know your favorites in the comments. Enjoy!
