Jurassic World Evolution

Frontier Developments today launched their new park management sim, Jurassic World Evolution. They are the same people behind Planet Coaster, which pretty much took over for the faltering RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise. Jurassic World Evolution sees you build and manage your own Jurassic World theme park. Send out teams to find dino DNA, create new dinosaurs for your park, drive jeeps/fix damaged structures, watch dinosaurs battle, help your park weather nasty storms, deal with sabotage, or just unleash the dinosaurs on purpose to create your own mayhem!

Jurassic World Evolution launched today for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Players will also need to expand their capabilities via research trees as they build out the park of their dreams. There are multiple islands to build on, a sandbox mode, and a plethora of dinosaur species to discover in Jurassic World Evolution. Using the DNA you’ve found, you can give your dinosaurs unique appearances and traits, adding more depth to the world. They also have needs to be met, so you’ll need to consider them as you plan their enclosures. You’ll also need to be ready should they escape, for your fences will wear out over time. Check out the brand new launch trailer:

You can also find out more about the game at its official website, or on its pages on other sites such as the Steam store. The Deluxe edition is $59.99 and comes with the Deluxe Dinosaurs Pack, which adds five extra dinosaur species to the game. If you have the standard edition, you can buy this DLC separately.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
