During Nintendo’s Day 2 E3 2018 live stream, new gameplay footage for Xenoblade Chronicles 2‘s Challenge Battle Mode DLC was shown. During this presentation it was announced that Shulk and Fiora would be added as playable Blades in this mode.
In addition to this news, it was shown that you could unlock outfits for the main characters through a rewards shop in Challenge Battle Mode. An example of an unlockable outfit is Pyra’s Nopon Disguise from Torigoth. Players can also play through certain battles from another character’s perspective, such as Jin during his attack on a titan ship.
Challenge Battle Mode comes out this Thursday night, June 14, 2018 at 10 pm PT and is included with the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass.
