At the start of the PC Gaming Show, Chivalry II was showcased. Developers delved into how it will feature famous medieval battles in media, with two and half times the players, putting the count to 64. It is set to release sometime in 2020, where it is a timed exclusive on the epic store. Other improvements from the last game include more fluid animations, allowing players to feel the weight of knights swinging in heavy armor.
Another addition are horses, to lend well with the increased player size. Overall, the focus is to really capture the feel of medieval battles, with modes such as sieges. The combat has also been reworked in order to enhance the experience, such as making it more accessible and faster.
